We tell our children at home, in school, in community activities being truthful is essential. We expect them to mature into honest caring human beings. But do we give them the tools to do so?
It is unfair to hold young adults or children to standards we do not follow ourselves as parents, care givers or educators. Let’s begin with being honest about their food. When the difficult questions we must tackle them with candour. Plain Speak for Pupils is for you to use in your classroom, community project or at home. It is a framework of how to engage withe questions kids ask without overwhelming them.
